For more than 60 years, Ashland Volunteer Rescue Squad has been serving the residents of the Town of Ashland and Hanover County by providing Emergency Medical Services and other community events.

Membership
Our membership currently consists of over 50 active members and we are always looking for new faces! If you enjoy serving your community and helping those in need, while having fun in good company, please consider a volunteer position within Ashland Rescue.
Lipscomb Room
Ashland Volunteer Rescue Squad has a rental hall that is open to public use for various social events and functions.
Donate
AVRS continues to operate on a budget that is mostly supported by donations. Expenses include medical equipment, vehicles and vehicle maintenance, building maintenance, uniforms, and more.
